L-SHAPED KITCHENS

L-Shaped Kitchen ideas work wonderfully for all small, medium, or large spaces. L-shaped layouts also work with different styles, such as contemporary and traditional cabinetry, and the shape is malleable enough to be adapted to structural needs, like a sloped ceiling, large windows, or wall opening.

What can you do with an L-Shaped kitchen? For this design, as well as all kitchen layouts, we must keep in mind practicality. It's very important to think about your day-to-day life in the space and arrange it to keep things as useful as possible.

It can happen for an L shape to be quite an awkward space to work in, especially the corner points. It’s not the most sociable layout either. However, if laid out well, it can prove very practical. For this kind of space, we try to keep each working station close to the other, making a working “triangle” between the fridge, sink, and stove.

To make your space seem bigger, choose light or neutral-colored cabinets and/or countertops for a better aesthetic. Using darker colors in a space can give the illusion of it being smaller.
